Hill, Holliday advertising company is established.

Originally Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos and founded by Jay Hill, Alan Holliday, Jack Connor, and Steve Cosmopulos, it is located today at 53 State Street. Connors subsequently becomes president. The company is sold to the Interpublic Group in 1998.
